Just Threads long arming services has just completed our first customer quilt. We quilted it with Loop Meander pattern and used Glide thread in the color Sprout on the front and the color Mint on the back using Magna Glide pre-wound bobbins. WWw.just-threads.com

We have been very busy with our new long arm and have had great results so far. We have used Glide thread on all of the quilts we have done and have had no issues except an occasional " user error".
David Little does the actual computerized quilting and I assist in set up and thread and bobbin color selection and quilting pattern. Win win! Here are a few we have completed. Some still need binding.

Look Ma no hands! Dave and I have invested in a computerized long arm. It's a Grace Unique 21x Elite. Right now we are in the learning stage but so far no major disasters. Dave brings his computer knowledge and I bring my quilting , design and sewing machine experience and it's a good combination. I do plan on also developing my free motion skills but chances are the computerization will be used most often.
The Glide threads and pre-wound bobbins are working very well! No tension issues so far. I'll post the finished quilt when done.

Stating to sew on a binding on a baby quilt .... will I run out of thread? It's SoFine #503 , one my favorite colors of my favorite thread for piecing. You can order some from Www.just-threads.com.

Today I continue to machine quilt a baby quilt using the embroidery module on my Bernina 790. It's a bit time consuming with lots of rehooping but I like the results. Each time I quilt this way, I learn some things and get a little more efficient. The quilting design comes from Designs by Ju-Ju. I am using white Glide in the top and Glide 60 in the bobbin and have had no problems with thread issues.

Today I finished a quilt top which is an accomplishment itself. It was part of a BOM that my Scrap Happy quilt group has been doing but originally it was a Sew Along by Pat Sloan a few years ago called Main Street. I challenged myself to just use a FQ bundle I had in my stash and no other fabrics for the blocks. I did buy extra fabric for the outer border and use fabric from my stash for the sashing. There were many times that I wasn't sure how it would turn out but once it was completed, I am happy with it. While I was piecing it , there was a spool of Glide Tapriz Orchid thread on the table ( from another project) and I kept thinking that it may be a good option for quilting thread. Now that it's done, I think it will be.

Dave and I are on a road trip. We have been to Yellowstone and the Black Mountains. I have posted those pictures on my personal page. I wanted to share this with all of you. It's the Dignity Statue in Chamberlain SD. Isn't it beautiful! Enjoy the pictures!
