This weekend we will be closed Friday & Saturday (8/14 & 8/15) to take a weekend with our children to go & celebrate the life of my Mom❤️. We often help others make memorial pieces but this time we made them for us. My mom loved to hand out our glass hearts to people kind to her or who helped care for her. She loved colors & I’m certain she would love these! Can’t wait to share them with her family & friends ~ Twyla 💛🧡🩷💜💚

This weekend we will be closed Friday & Saturday (8/14 & 8/15) to take a weekend with our children to go & celebrate the life of my Mom❤️. This is Amanda’s wonderful entry at the county fair! Her penguin’s made with powdered glass are amazing!!! It even has a glow in the dark sky! There were only two entries this year in her category but she got the top one! @ Polk County, Oregon Fair! Go check it out!! Today (Saturday) is the last day! Till 10 pm tonight! Looks like several may go on to State! Look at all those ribbons! Wow!! 👏👏👏👏👏🏆

Our first Borosilicate Marble class is on today! 🤩👏🤩👏❤️❤️❤️
This is a 4 hour introductory class. Students will learn about safety, torches, flame chemistry and its effect on color, as well as shaping techniques, tools, and basics of making borosilicate marbles. Students will melt borosilicate glass in the flame with a torch, encase colored glass, as well as apply color to the surface. Students will learn how to operate a torch, learn to use a graphite marble mold and how to properly anneal your pieces. Students will likely be able to create 2-4 marbles.
