As many of you may know , I take in 100s of animals every year. It takes a lot of money to provide vet care, food, substrate , ect … for these pets who are often elderly or very sick. Just in 2026. I have taken in 18 ball pythons, 4 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 1 cockatiel, 3 doves, and a very sick bearded dragon. Our vet bill just for January was 8400$. Even if everyone gets adopted at our current asking price the store will still lose 5400$. To help cover these cost in late March or early April I will be opening a thrift store right next door. I have signed contracts to receive truck loads of Amazon, Walmart , Target returns at a discount price , I will also take any donations. All proceeds will be used solely for covering expenses for the unwanted exotics the shop takes in. If anyone has anything that’s cluttering up there house or garage all donations are welcome. Only items that can not be donated are used mattresses, car seats, weapons, and undergarments. All donations may be made at the pet store any day from 12pm-6 pm. Thank you.
