Our Story

JCM has been a successful business serving the St. Louis and surrounding areas for decades. It was originally opened by John, Charlie and Marie Borrini in 1976. We’ve been in operation ever since. In 2015 the company changed hands and is now owned and operated by Joe Merklin.

By staying on the cutting edge of technology we are able to help you with the machining and rebuilding of old hard to find engines, race cars, daily drivers, work trucks, motorcycles and much more. Our coating department offers a wide variety of ceramic applications and lubricant coatings. We have been certified through Tech Line Coatings since 2005. Some examples are : exhaust and intake manifolds, pistons, bearings, headers and combustion chambers on cylinder heads. The coatings are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
