A little extra Yerba Mate was required this morning. 🧉

I was up until 1:00 AM finishing a fresh batch of hats and building a brand-new display dedicated just to the ladies’ collection. After a late night in the workshop, everything is loaded up and ready to go!

I’m set up at the Astoria Farmers Market today from 10–3 with a full selection of handcrafted leather goods, hats, wallets, watch bands, earrings, and a few new pieces I’ve been working on. Back at the Pacific County Farmers Market and putting in some stitches today.

One of my favorite parts of leatherwork is slowing down and building something by hand, one stitch at a time. Every wallet, journal, belt, and leather good starts as a piece of leather and is transformed through hours of cutting, shaping, stitching, and finishing.

All set up at the Pacific County Farmers Market and ready for a great day!

I brought along a few brand-new earring styles that are making their debut today, and I even have my favorite little helper, Miss Ellie Grace, hanging out with me at the booth. ❤️

The test batch of waxy pull-up leather went really well — I ended up selling 4 out of the 5 wallets I made, which was incredibly encouraging. I’m really excited about how the leather turned out overall, and seeing the texture and character come to life in person was honestly pretty rewarding. Because of that, I went ahead and ordered six more colors to experiment with. I can’t wait to share updates and photos with you all soon 👀

Busy Saturdays at Skywater just hit different. The Ilwaco Saturday Market is buzzing, the shop is full of handcrafted goods, and today I completely lost all self control when I wandered next door to see Stoneware by Cheryl and came back with this adorable turtle planter for the pay station.

Honestly though… I think he fits in perfectly around here.

Limited run. New leather. New direction.

I just got in a small batch of this incredible waxy pull-up leather and decided to do a very limited release this weekend only. The color shift and depth in this leather is unreal — every piece develops its own character the more it’s handled and worn.

These will be available:
• Friday at the Columbia Pacific Farmers Market in Long Beach
• Sunday at the Astoria Market

If the feedback is good, I’ll be bringing in a full color lineup and launching an entirely new collection around this leather.
