Inspired by the recent generosity of others, we have decided to do something a little different these last few days before Christmas.
We want to be sure that everyone has a tree this Christmas, and we still have some very nice trees left in need of homes. So...we want anyone still needing a tree, to take one and feel free to pay whatever amount they feel that they can afford. We've placed a box on the porch at The Corner Cabinet, LLC to the left of the front door, that you can place payment in.
We would also like to offer to donate trees to any churches that would like one. Just contact us and we will make arrangements!

We’ve got some beautiful Scotch Pine and Balsam Fir trees to choose from! 🌲

Have questions on how to care for your freshly cut tree? Want to make sure it lasts til Christmas?

1. 🪚 Trim the trunk right before putting it in water. This ensures that your tree will be able to absorb all the water it needs to stay fresh. It’s also the key to having a tree that stands up straight! We can trim it for you. 👍🏻

2. WATER! 💦 The first time you fill the tree stand, fill it with boiling water. It will liquefy any sap that's hardened at the base of the trunk since it was cut. One perk of the boiling water is that it releases an incredible fragrance. You only have to use hot water the first time.

Make sure your tree stand always has water in the base. Your tree can absorb over a gallon of water in the first couple of days! If you have pets, make sure you are double checking because sometimes your fur babies like to sneak some drinks. 🐾

3. DO not place your tree near a heating air vent. 🔥 The hot air dries the tree out quickly.

4. If possible, use a spray bottle to keep the tree wet.

5. Try to decrease your thermostat settings a degree or two. 🌡 The tree will dry out slower in cooler temperatures.

These tips will help your tree remain fresh through Christmas! 🎄
