So for “reasons” I took a LONG break from posting on social media. Since then I closed my booth to allow myself to play again, creating for my own enjoyment when I damn well feel like it. What a concept! My first big project is this ombré denim throw made from some of my scraps, backed with pieced together leftovers of a flannel sheet. Part of my reclaimed time lately was spent deconstructing about four totes of jeans I’ve had for years. Most became 8” squares for rag quilts but the other odd bits went in my scrap bin, hence the scrap quilt🙂It feels good to get back to what I really enjoy. And No I’m not taking commissions, and I don’t need more jeans for a good long while. Please donate to your local charity thrift store😉

I may or may not be a little obsessed with this jumper, made from four sleeves and a collar. Would be super cute over a tshirt and jeans, or just on its own if you’re that brave; too breezy for my taste 😁. I can see it being worn to the Pretty Prairie Rodeo with a pair of boots.
