For a retirement, Change of Command, or Change of Responsibility give-aways a a great way to thank friends and family for coming and celebrating the day with you. Magnets with embedded neodymium magnets or ornaments with add names, dates, or whatever you’d like.

They also can be added to centerpieces to tie it all together.

It’s been quite the year for me. A car wreck in Jan lead to a totaled vehicle and a hand and wrist surgery that put me out of commission for over 8 months. Luckily I was able to be working by “ornament season”. This year I was lucky enough to get to design some great ornaments and projects for people, as well as work a couple of craft shows. Below are a few of the orders, I got the pleasure of doing. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Year!

Let’s talk about what happens with custom ornaments (or really any project).
First you send me the crest or object you trying to incorporate along with any words or date you want on it. Then I send mock-ups of designs back to you. Mock-ups are rough drafts that I normally cut on cheaper wood. From there I modify the designs until they are what the client wants. In this particular case, she came back to me the following year and we designed another one for the same unit.
