Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by my booth today for my final market of the season! It was a beautiful day for supporting local with 150 vendors at MidCity! I have a handful of boxes remaining, including some small sized options about half the size of the full boxes, which make a great budget friendly option between $35-$50! Introducing a new natural soap scent- Frakincense & Myrrh! Along with the ever popular Vanilla Oat bar from Seriously Simple Soap, this new addition blending oils and Rhassoul clay will make your holiday gifting extra special! Learn why:

"In the Bible, the gifts of frankincense and myrrh were given to baby Jesus by the three wise men. Beside the symbolic meanings, many have suggested that the gifts of the magi were a bit more practical—even medicinal in nature.

Researchers at Cardiff University have demonstrated that frankincense has an active ingredient that can help relieve arthritis by inhibiting the inflammation that breaks down cartilage tissue and causes arthritis pain. The new study validates traditional uses of frankincense as an herbal remedy to treat arthritis in communities of North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, where the trees that produce this aromatic resin grow.

The word myrrh comes from the Arabic word “murr” which translates into “bitter.” In Ancient Egypt, myrrh was used to treat hay fever and skin conditions. The ancient Greeks used it as an antiseptic for soldiers to clean up battle wounds, and myrrh was commonly carried into the battlefield.

We used the technique called confetti soap when the shredded pieces of soap are used to make soap colorful and to use up the bits and pieces of soap. It looks lovely and smells divine! One of my favorite smells – deep, rich, woodsy and tranquil!" - Brian and Tatyana Roadruck

Get to know the heart behind these makers:

"In the year 2020, the world slowed down and I set out on a journey to learn to make pottery on the wheel after a move of the Holy Spirit on my heart. This journey began with the Lord revealing to me how He works in the hearts of people and quickly evolved into a passion for making something beautiful and useful from a simple, ordinary ball of clay...just like He does in us. The learning process was very challenging at times, but in the end, the reward of holding a piece of art and knowing He held my hand through the trial and error was well worth it. My prayer is that when you hold this piece of clay, it reminds you of the One who holds your hand and what He can do with the most simple, most ordinary ball of clay. So no matter how little you have been given, a big God will do amazing things with it...if you just hand it over to Him."
