Hey y’all! I have been radio silent for quite some time but I’m back and looking forward to it. I will be at First Fridays on June 2 in Downtown Florence. This pretty lady was almost too big to fit in the light box! But I love her. I’d been envisioning a piece like this for a while but didn’t know how to accomplish it. It started off as two pieces: both of which were supposed to be a chainmail scrubber for cast iron. Then I realized I’d finally nailed the triangular shaped I’d been dreaming of in my head for a while. I might model it later, what do you guys think? 😉😏

What do you guys think about character themed jewelry/outfits? I love them. I think it’s a fun way to carry your favorite or even original character with you throughout your daily life. Sort of like a good luck charm. How many of us need to be reminded of values like cunning wit, heroic courage, impressive intelligence, and the delicate balance of hard work and niceness to a fault?

I put off posting this necklace for forever because I didn’t know how to take pics of it. I was going get one of my beautiful friends to model it for me. But I decided since I didn’t want to, that’s probably all the more reason to do it myself.

It seems to be a trend to name the style of your products with the name of a person. I wasn’t all that fond of this trend until I realized how much these earrings remind me of Regis from The Witcher book series. Something about them reminds me so much of him. They are smart, bold, and stunning. Everyone needs a Regis 🩸⚔️

“Oh how precious every mile, so take a minute, learn to smile… my friends let’s stop a while and smell the flowers.” ✨🪷

I love taking photos of nature. If I see a tree or even just a leaf that catches my eye, I’ll stop what I’m doing to take a picture. I saw these hyacinths blooming on campus and stopped because I love the smell of hyacinths, but then I had the idea of taking some pictures of these earrings on them.

I came up with this tapered weave because I didn’t have the right size rings for what I originally had in mind, but I ended up loving it. They are hard to photograph because they lose their dimension laying flat, and I didn’t want to just take pictures in the lightbox. So I used these hyacinths to my advantage and got a nice scent to keep me company while I tediously tried to arrange these earrings on a flower. ✨💜

Something to stay busy with on a rainy day 🌧️ I bought the metal frame for $1.74 during my $1 Hobby Lobby run yesterday.
