Ever wonder where exactly did coffee come from? Legend has it that 9th-century goat herders noticed the effect caffeine had on their goats, who appeared to "dance" after eating the fruit of the Coffea plant. A local monk then made a drink with the produce and found that it kept him awake at night, thus the original cup of coffee was born.

Did you know that coffee has a short 15minutes of fame?- 5-21 days to be exact! Grocery store coffee has been sitting around for months, sometimes up to a year! It's a sad and stale bean after that!

That is why our coffee is roasted in small batches and is still fresh when it reaches the customer, so that you get the full flavor.

How clean is your coffee? Whether you drink our coffee or another, it’s good to know what farm your beans are coming from and if they are a reputable farmer.. Unfortunately a lot of coffee farmers don’t care if their beans are insect infested/damaged, if they are old, over/under rippened or if they are damaged.
Here at Huntley Coffee we inspect every batch of beans before they get roasted to ensure you have the best quality coffee possible ☺️
