In honor of my mother who passed away with breast cancer in 1999, I named the store after her . I started out making hand poured jar candles for myself and as gifts for my family and friends. Next thing I knew, I was doing craft shows and fund raisers adding new items and products as I went along. I made the decision to close the store when I started attending college. After many requests, beggin
g, crying, and pulling of the heart strings by my family, friends and old customers, I have decided to reopen Grammie Doc's Country Place. We are basically starting from scratch, but I have so many new ideas, items and products to offer than before! I love to re-purpose old and new. Old, beat up, scratched, dented, blemished, paint peeling furniture and rusty items are my favorite things to let my creative juices flow with. Some of the things you will eventually see in my photo albums will be hand poured jar candles and tarts; homemade soaps, lotions, and other personal products; homemade laundry detergent and household cleaning products without the harsh chemicals of the commercial products in your local stores; yard art to put on your deck/patio, in your garden/flower beds, any place or space your would like to display it; home decor for inside your home; holiday decor for inside/outside your home. Prices may vary on some items, depending on availability and cost. I try to purchase items at the lowest price possible so that I can offer my customers reasonable priced items. Be sure to browse my photo albums regularly for new creations.
