Huntington residents: you can now sign the GET THE FLOCK OUT petition at Cicada Books! Each staff member will have a petition for you to sign during business hours. Please ask at the register to sign their petition.

This bipartisan petition is led by Huntington Citizen Action Group and calls for a ballot initiative to make it illegal for the city to contract with mass surveillance technology companies (like Flock) after the mayor and six city council members recently voted to support a $2.1 million contract with Flock to install 63 cameras, two audio listening devices, and a drone in the City of Huntington.

You must be registered to vote in Huntington to be eligible to sign.

Cicada Books is open 12-5pm Sunday, 10am-6pm Tuesday - Friday, and 9am-5pm Saturday

We have acquired hundreds of K-12 homeschooling textbooks – most subjects include both student and teacher’s books. Language arts, math, foreign language, spelling, phonics. Books are in excellent used condition. Note: many of these are from BJU Press (Christian publisher). See some representative samples.

$2.00 each for every single book in the collection. Visit us from 10am - 6pm Wednesday - Friday to take a look!
