This Thursday, October 29 at 7pm, join us as we celebrate the paperback release of “The Irish Goodbye” with bestselling author and Read With Jenna author, Heather Aimee O’Neill!

A Huntington native, Heather will be joined in conversation by fellow Long Islander and bestselling author, Alyson Richman (“The Missing Pages”).

Following their discussion, there will be a Q&A and then they will both be signing books and taking pictures with guests.

Ticket includes a paperback copy of “The Irish Goodbye,” and copies of “The Missing Pages” will also be available for purchase at the event.

We’re still all smiles from our FABULOUS event on Thursday night with Brooke Averick in conversation with Tessa Bailey 🩷🍒🩷

Such a fun crowd — thank you to everyone who joined us, and a huge thank you to ladyefron and Tessa Bailey 💋 for an amazing evening!

We have signed copies of “Phoebe Berman’s Gonna Lose It” available for pickup or shipping (link in bio).

We also have signed copies of Tessa Bailey’s newest novel, “Broken Rival,” as well as many of her backlist titles.

ONLY A FEW MORE NIGHTS TILL OUR MIDNIGHT RELEASE PARTY FOR THE NEW ACOTAR BOOK!

We can't wait for this... we will be doing crafts, trivia, and other activities. Grab your ticket (which includes a copy of the book) on our website or in-store!

1. Kids tiered display moved & stocked with holiday books
2. Half wall emptied of its half price gift books, rolled uphill & shelved with TV/movie tie-In books
3. Single issue comics have more space!
4. Cardboard displays & easy readers moved behind & onto this new table (not sure what else will live on this table yet)
5. Couches moved to smarter locations - still the same amount of seating in this room for reading with your little one :)

7. Killed 1 mystery case and swapped them with the mystery table which we had been neglecting but
8. Now filled with new releases & staff picks as well as remainders. Large print books more prominent/accessible!

10. Poli sci etc. gets a different table & is neater. Non-fiction staff picks moved to this table behind poli sci table (opposite fiction staff picks) - easier to browse and more sensible location for staff picks than the location was for half price gift books!

12. Literary non-fiction & poetry (congrats on the Nobel Prize Anne Carson) now on this ex Poli Sci table and next to the new non fiction table. Those tiny weird tables (that had a few non fiction staff picks) next to new non fiction table have been nixed for now

You are cordially invited to join our Midnight Release Party on Monday, October 26 to celebrate “A Court of Splintered Harmony” by Sarah J. Maas!

The festivities start at 10pm, and will include ACOTAR trivia, mask bedazzling, a “wildest theory” competition, snacks, a chance to meet new friends — and SJM-world prizes, including a first edition of “Kingdom of Ash” worth $120!

Books will be distributed at midnight, so get your PTO request in now for Tuesday the 27th 😎

We are just over a week away from welcoming podcast host and debut author, Brooke Averick, to The Next Chapter! She will be here on Thursday, October 22 at 7pm in conversation with NYT bestselling author, Tessa Bailey, with a photo line to follow!

A pre-signed copy of “Phoebe Berman’s Gonna Lose It” is included with your ticket, and Tessa Bailey will also be signing copies of her books with a purchase of one of her titles that night. Both authors will be posing for pictures with guests.

Seating will be open starting at 5pm.
