To all of our friends, customers, and new friends who have viewed our pages: We appreciate all of the comments and sentiments of how we have been missed this past summer, and believe us, we feel the same way. We have missed being at the store this past season, and all of our friends and customers who have become friends and family!
We hope to be back next season and look forward to seeing everyone again, with new beautiful items to make your beach experience more fun!

Carousels and Ships and Jan and Ken Hackel DID NOT retire! We were not allowed to open this season as they are tearing down the buildings. We expect to be back next summer if there is a space for us in what is replacing the buildings. All of our merchandise is in storage, and we hope to bring it, plus all new items next year at our usual discounted prices! Stay tuned...😃👕🧢👙🕶🐢🦞🐟🐬🐳⛱🎠

Dear friends/customers of Carousels and Ships Gift Shop: As many of you have asked, or wondered why we haven’t opened yet this spring, we have sad news.
The owners of the Nantasket Beach strip, aka the Paragon Boardwalk, have decided to demolish the buildings that housed Joseph’s, our store, and the Penny building. What they will replace them with, will not be ready in time for us to be able to operate this summer,
so we will not have a location to continue our business this summer. If they have a location for us next summer, we hope to be back in 2020.
It has been our great pleasure to have you as customers, coworkers, and dear friends over the past 30 years, and we will miss you all, and hope that we will see you again in the future, and keep up our friendships on facebook, through email, messenger etc.
Though we live in Easton, Hull has been our home for the last 30 years, and we will always feel ties to it and its wonderful people! Love, Ken and Jan Hackel

Carousels and Ships wants to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes.We are ok and we plan to be back in the spring. . Preparations for renovations have not made it possible to maintain the online store this holiday season. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Carousels and Ships is going to wait until tomorrow to open, as impending thunderstorms make it very difficult to open the garage doors and put merchandise outside to enable ease of shopping. We’ll see you tomorrow!

We are so excited for this new season, we have so many items, that we’re trying to figure out
how to stretch the walls! The changes that are coming to the strip will thrill and delight adults and kids alike!
We’re showing new styles of sundresses and cover-ups and more are on the way!
New top quality Nantasket Beach tees, tanks, and sweats, in new designs,
And of course all of the Hull designs we’ve carried for years!
We’ve been serving Hull and Nantasket Beach for about 30 years, it ain’t easy, but we love
doing it!
Remember that cozy "nantucket fleece" ( a grey heather thick fabric)that everyone loved and still ask for? It's back, with more coming in as the weeks go by.
Chairs, towels, bodyboards, skimboards, beach blankets, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. are here and/or arriving daily. Don't worry Hullonians, we still have Hull clothing and gifts if you're missing our Kenberma store!
Remember to get your STATE PARKING PASSES ($60.00) for the whole year, and $10.00 Senior(62 and older) lifetime pass, so you can park across in the state lots for FREE!
