This is what I feel is priority and would recommend to pay first.
1. Food - Beans and rice time y'all :) meaning keep your meals simple and cheap.
2. Utilities - call your providers ask for discounts and change due dates to spread out expenses for the month.
3. Budget for gas - It would be a good idea to budget this expense and have it in cash at home
4. Rent/Mortgage - If you dont have money or are short on the payment due call your loaner or landlord. Explain the situation and they will work with you during these tough times
5. Minimum to credit cards and loans - If you don't have money for these payments put it off until you do.

Let me know inthe comments below if you agree with this logic or what you would do different and why. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe 😷✌

If your income has changed due to layoffs, cut hours or wage decrease then your budget MUST be modified to fit your current situation. These are the decisions my husband and I made.
1. Cut cable down to the basic plan.
2. Absolutely no take out food. We're both working from home.
3. Working from home has minimized gas usage and we have no toll expenses.
4. We took our son out of all extra curricular activities.
5. Called our utilities and asked for discounts and changed the due dates.
6. Defered our mortgage and car note for 3 months. We are putting that cash in a savings. We hope this all blows over and when it does we'll use what cash we have saved to catch up with the deferred payments. If cash had to be used for essentials then we'll roll that amount due to the back of the loan. Normally you can have that option with car notes. So you'll want pay the mortgage 1st.
7. Be frugal y'all and save as much cash as you can. Nobody knows how long this lock down is going to last.

Be safe and I hope this is helpful information.

It's that time of the year yall to look for places to save MONEY!!

a) Call your light company and ask for valued customer discounts and special offers. And/or shop other providers.

b) Call your Home/Rental/Car Insurance and ask them for loyal customer prices and for any discounts you maybe eligible for. And/or shop other providers.
