Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and organized day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped out in a timely and accurate manner. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience and a strong track record of achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, including supervisors, pickers, packers, and forklift operators.
Plan, organize, and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of products.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and transportation, to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization.
Train and develop warehouse staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management.
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Proven track record of successful warehouse management, including process improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Forklift certification (desired but not required).
