The Hutkay Story

In early 2015 three squash enthusiasts over a dinner had discussed the challenges associated with getting access to quality Squash Gear and Apparel in U.S. there are few options available for Squash products online and it is almost impossible to find any Squash gear or apparel at local sports equipment retailers in U.S. As the dinner dialog evolved, a quick online search led them

to some interesting facts on Squash players and growth of the sport in U.S. They learned that Squash players and fans represent a highly targeted motivated demographic of men women and youth in the United States. Squash players tend to be highly educated, of which 98% are college graduates and 57% have further degrees. Squash demographic is extremely passionate about Sport of Squash and is deeply interested in having access to best squash gear and apparel. The online research intrigued the group to “What if:” we created an online marketplace which provides best available squash gear? The group had a great dinner conversation on the growth of the sport of squash. They discussed an idea of an online marketplace for squash gear, a possible name for such venture but that evening they only made plans for next squash games and didn’t do anything further with their ideas! Over the course of next 1.5 years, they kept talking about the why, what and how of an online endeavor. They attempted to get answers to questions such as; what will make us different, why would such online marketplace will be supported by squash enthusiasts in U.S and how we will make it a reality? On 1st of July 2016, HutKay.Fit was born as an online marketplace for Squash Gear & Apparel with lean staff at a warehouse in Central Houston. HutKay is Hindi or Urdu word for different, like our name at HutKay we believe that we are here to make a difference to the sport of Squash. We are passionate about educating avid players on Squash products and giving them access to best Squash Gear, Apparel and Footwear in the game at the best price.
