ABOUT DAVID F. WALKER:
David F. Walker is an award-winning writer, filmmaker, educator, and comics creator whose work moves with power across history, horror, superheroes, and Black cultural imagination. From Blackenstyne, Shaft, and The Black Panther Party: A Graphic History, DC’s Naomi, and Big Jim & The white boy -a reimagining of an American classic adventure , Walker has built a career telling bold stories that center legacy, identity, justice, and genre with purpose. He is also the co-creator of the Eisner Award-winning series Bitter Root, a celebrated comic that blends steampunk, Harlem Renaissance history, fzmily,supernatural and sci-fi into one of the most important modern comic series of the last decade.
