Introducing the latest additions to Marzi Montazeri’s line of signature guitars, the E2.6FRTY PRIESTESS+ and the E2.7BG PRIESTESS+ equipped with mahogany body, 3-piece maple neck, ebony fretboard, split block inlays, Duncan Solar+ pickups, Solar tuners and speed k***s. The 6-string has a floyd rose special bridge and the 7-string have a tune-o-matic string thru bridge.

I was born in Tehran, raised in Ahvaz and spent all my holidays growing up in North Iran under the Caspian Sea where my parents were born! My grandfather on my moms side was a poet and my father an Artist! I had 5 aunts on each side of the family and one uncle also on each side! The presence of the brave Iranian warrior women who were/are in my family with unconditional love and compassion tied with upmost intelligence and undeniable integrity was forever forged in me when I was very young. In 78 my dad brought us to the states and two things happened, one my mother and only brother moved back the first summer and then the current regime took Americans hostage. I wasn’t able to see my mom and lil bro till it all ended many years later leaving me to grow up solo. When we first moved no one had heard of Iran pronounced -E run- but soon after the hostage crisis it became the new American enemy and so then my lil self growing up now without a mom and lil brother with an abusive father started to hear names like ayotolah or terrorist or fukn eye rainian a slang term on top of just simply trying to learn a new language! I didn’t know a word before moving! I am proud to be an Iranian guitarist in the world of metal today! I may be the first but I won’t be the last. It’s my dream for Iran to be free and for myself and other artist to be able to go there and perform! This will happen god willing sooner than later. The 12th fret inlay of my signature guitars is a family emblem and an ode to Ahura Mazda. The shirt I wore is a dedication to all of the women of Iran who are teaching us all the definition of bravery. My son drew it and buddy made it overnight before I drove to Austin Tx to shoot with This is more than a guitar, it’s a celebration of truth and integrity in an absolute pivotal point of history again led by the courageous women of Iran! You can’t burn woman made of fire! #

Years later to be on Guitar World with my second signature guitar is a good feeling to wake up to!
