Just doing a little restoration, why not?! One of my repeat customers found this in her attic and needed it repaired. It's over 100 years old fretwork frame. VERY delicate and missing some pieces. No problem, just got some plain β…› plywood to trace the missing parts, used tea to color match it and made a shadow box to protect it.

Now is a good time to remember there are two choices better than recycling:

1. Reduce -- find ways to minimize so valuable and/or hazardous materials don't enter the commercial and environmental streams in the first place.

2. Reuse -- find ways to maximize the usefulness of materials to get the most out of them before they have to be recycled or discarded.

I asked Google AI: can you please generate an image of what you might want yourself to appear like if you had the opportunity.
What's your take?

Update: just to clarify for everyone, I'm using this trick on my dolly, aka hand truck, hand trolley, stack truck, trundler, box cart, sack barrow, cart, sack truck, two wheeler, or bag barrow. NOT a motorized vehicle or any heavyweight utility cart, trailer etc...

So this one's going to make you think I've lost my mind or that I'm joking but I'm not. I'm totally serious when I say this is the best life hack I've ever discovered. First drill holes in your dolly wheels. Really. all the way around, about a dozen like a clock. Get a can of great stuff big gap filler throw away the straw. Stick that nub right into the tire and fill it up! You'll never have to put air in your tires again but it's still feels cushiony like pneumatic tires normally do not hard like solid rubber tires that suck. Last time I did it on this Dolly was 3 years ago. Overtime it will crush down a little bit but then you can just top it off like I just did. Some of you know what I'm talking about, is Dolly was given to me about my work because they were sick and tired of putting air in every single day. That was 10 years ago and this might be my fourth go with the gap filler. Once the stuff on the outside dries I just roll it around until it knocks it off and then it's good to go.!
