The first prototype of Van Gogh’s painting “The Bedroom” has been cut! 🛏️

I wanted to walk you through my critique of the first cut and talk through what I’m changing about the next version of the design. There were several immediate concerns (mostly with sizing & kerf), and the color of the background is too light compared to the original.

Now let’s see how many prototypes it takes to get it right 🤪

The art tile collection is officially on the laser & in the works! First up is the piece inspired by architect & designer Frank Lloyd Wright. After 10 prototypes with the TINIEST changes to each one, she is done, & my GOD she is beautiful 😭

I started working with acrylic four years ago and my baby brain would not be able to comprehend what I’m able to do now & I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Next up to prototype is a Van Gogh - drop your guesses for which painting it’ll be!

As I've been working on the next collection, I realized I never properly showed off the new foodie collection in my feed 😅 Here's the story of how the cheese earrings came to life!

My photographer found a mini cheese grater while shopping for photo props. At the time the cheese earrings didn't exist, but once I saw a picture of the mini grater, I obviously needed to make a cheese earring happen.

Babybel snack cheeses are a longtime favorite of mine, so I wanted them to resemble those. I tried using a lighter color for the cheese at first, but it honestly looked kind of insane so I went a more traditional color route. The engravings are rough and not paint filled to show off the cheese's "texture." I finished the pair with PVD plated stainless steel hoops for durability and comfort.

I'm really pleased with how they turned out, & I hope you love them as much as I do! 🧀

In case ya missed it! 📣 I added a HUGE sale section to the website last month with designs that are being retired for good. Experimenting to find my style has been fun, but I've finally found what feels most authentic to me. It's bittersweet to retire these designs, but I know it's what's best to make room for growth 🤗

Hello from the *finally* clean studio 👋🏻 I started the year off with a deep clean + reorganization of the office, and this week's big (and long overdue) task is to say goodbye to some products for good.

I've experimented a lot since starting back in 2023, and I finally feel like I have a hold on my style & the direction I want to take Hear & Now.

The website will relaunch (date tbd but will announce soon) with an "end of an era" section for 50% off until items are sold out.
