Please welcome SAMANTHA SCAFFIDI to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 8th - 10th, 2025) event!

Samantha gained recognition for her portrayal of "Victoria Heyes" in Terrifier (2016), Terrifier 2 (2022) and Terrifier 3 (2024).

She also had a leading role as Luce in Demon Hole (2017). In addition to acting, Scaffidi is known for directing the RAINN public service announcement Wait (2019)

Please welcome JENNA KANELL to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 8th - 10th, 2025) event!

Kanell gained recognition for her portrayal of Tara Heyes in Damien Leone's slasher film Terrifier (2016)—which obtained a cult following after its Netflix debut. Kanell later had a supporting role as Kim Hines in Stacy Title's horror film The Bye Bye Man(2017)

Her performance was very well-received; Variety wrote, "...the one who, all too briefly, steals the movie: Jenna Kanell." Both performances garnered comparisons to Neve Campbell's portrayals in The Craft (1996) and Scream (1996).

She has since starred in several significant short films, including "Max & the Monster", a dark comedy short film she wrote, directed, and produced which premiered on the opening night of the 2018 Austin Film Festival, and Ben Joyner’s sci-fi short film “Abducted”, which premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.

Please welcome actress CATHERINE CORCORAN to the Houston Horror Film Fest - (August 8th - 10th, 2025) event!

Catherine is best known for portraying “Dawn Emerson” in the indie horror cult favorite TERRIFIER.

Catherine Corcoran made genre film history with her starring roles in and Starz/ Troma Entertainment's, award-winning, 'Return to Nuke 'Em High' franchise. Her career also includes starring roles in Amazon Studios feature, 'Long Lost' by Emmy Award-winning director, Erik Bloomquist, Hallmark Channel's 'Last Vermont Christmas' along with a supporting role in 'Chuck' alongside Elizabeth Moss, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber.

Catherine has guest and co-starred on television series 'Gossip Girl,' 'The Good Wife,' 'MTV Pranks,' and worked under the mentorship of Academy Award recognized directors Peter Jackson ('The Lovely Bones') and Josh Fox ('Gasland'). She has produced and written a variety of narrative and commercial content for organizations such as Emmy Award-winning Silver Sound Studios, Motown Records, Metro Esports, Zeldavision Media, Little Bear Studios and ReKT Global.
