A beautiful charm necklace I made last night.

I was playing around with my charm bar and realized I hadn’t made a charm necklace yet. So I assembled a pretty set of charms that I would get if I made my own charm necklace. I wanted this necklace to symbolize my future. The initial N is for my future daughter’s name. The pink turmaline is for the love I’ll have for the future life I build and compassion for my future career in nursing. The butterfly signals full growth into adulthood. The postcard represents travel. I want to visit so many places around the world and collect postcards along the way. I didn’t have the privilege to travel growing up, so one of my goals is to fill my fridge with magnets from every place I visit.

Business owners see it all and know when support is genuine.
I have many “friends” that are always watching me, but can never be bothered to even like any of my posts. Let’s normalize supporting your friends and engaging with their content, just like you support celebrities and influencers that don’t know or care you exist. A quick like, comment, or repost really go a long way. It tells the algorithm that more people should see the post and then pushes it to new audiences, but it first only shows it to followers. If followers see it but don’t engage with it, it will not boost the post.

In the end, as small business owners, all we can do is keep going. Keep posting, keep trying everything we possibly can. One day our hard work will pay off.
