Twilight journal goes to my 1st customer who will jump on Board with Bettys Closet and make a donation to our #1 cause
SHELTER4MAX AND FRIENDS
THIS cause is extremely important to me and my service dog Max. You see Max and I have been battling homelessness for a few years now. Now that we can see a light at the end of our tunnel we want to raise money for others like us. Max and i dream big so for starters 20% of all of Bettys Closet profits will be donated to the shelter4MaxandFriends non-profit orginaztion Max and I dreamed up out on the streets here in Houston, in Los Angeles California and in Tulsa Oklahoma off and on over the last 3 years. This orginaztion will strive to provide shelter, food, care and a friendly face 1st here in Houston and then across the United States and beyond for disabled persons either mentally or physicaly disabled and their service or emotional support animals. Where without the need of an id will be given for both them and their service or emotional support animal a roof over their heads, food, water, support, guidance and care through the turmouls they are facing without a place to call home. Shelter4MaxandFriends aims not only to help with their basic human needs but also to join forces with the other great programs for the homless here in Houston like Lord of the Streets, the salvation army, the many food pantries, Catholic Charities and Red Cross just to name a few. Max and i we dream big we would also like to open some clinics to the idea of staffing Veterinarians for their furry counterparts and becoming service/emotional support animal friendly. Also we would like to follow in the footsteps of the Starbucks family by opening our Houston Library doors to them so they may charge their phones or use the restrooms or just read a book. Wont you stand up to this cause with Max and I and make a donation today here on Bettys Closet or no later than this friday feb. 28th on gofundme or perhaps this weekend when Max and I hit the pavement door to door this weekend to get the ball rolling. Help Max, Me and our red vested furry friends out there with no where to seek a helping hand, shelter and guidance off the streets and into homes of our own. Homelessness is a terrible problem here in Houston and all over and the shelters are few and far between but even whats out there cant help those of us out on the street with our ever faithfull companions. Help us make Houston the 1st city in the USA to provide help for our four legged heros and their handlers. Help Max and I fight this fight for all of them. Also soon to come donation boxes for clothing shoes and bedding and what cant be used i will sell right here on Bettys closet and then once we get our website up and running we will continue there.
