🦦 I came across this little guy while I’ve been scrolling through all my old pictures. I don’t think I ever posted him and I made him a year ago! Isn’t he adorable with his little fish?!
If I ever make another, I think I’ll make his body a little longer and give him a clam 🩷🩶

I joined this challenge hoping it would motivate me to post things besides finished items, but now I’m days behind with no hope of catching up. Loving your amigurumi can get dirty.
More ❤️ = More 🤎 So here are some tips for caring for your amigurumi:

🫧 Spot clean when possible. If it needs a full-cleaning, either hand wash or put in gentle cycle in a delicate bag.

🕶️ Roll your amigurumi in a towel and squeeze as much water out as you can. Reshape.

☀️ Air drying is best, but you can tumble dry no to very low heat in the delicate bag. The yarn is 100% cotton but the stuffing is not.

AmiguruMay Day 11: 3 Things About Yarns

1 - 100% Cotton Yarn is my favorite for creating amigurumi. It’s soft and easy to care for, unlike a lot of the plush yarn.

2 - I prefer super fine yarn with a 2 mm hook. I love the detailing it allows and it’s easy on my hands. Friends 8/4 and Rainbow 8/4 from are my go-to. There are plenty of colors to choose from.

3 - I’m a bit of a yarn hoarder, or collector. I have more ideas on how to use all the different colors and textures than time. I haven’t been able to experiment as much as I’d like. Not to worry, there are only 6 days left of school, then all those hours on the day are mine!!!

AmiguruMay Day 9: All Time Favorite

This guy is my all time favorite. Yes, he’s adorable, but that’s not the only reason. This is when I started to really believe in my abilities; that I had something special to offer; to think that I deserved the commissions I received. He just means a lot to me and my crochet journey. And I’m excited to have another one on the calendar ☺️
