Congratulations to GLORIA for completing our Summer Reading Challenge and winning the Grand Prize of a year of free books (1 book a month for twelve months).

We put all 21 participants names in the spinner wheel and spun live so everyone can see the winner.

Thank you to everyone who participated this year! We will most likely do the same prize next year in case you are planning ahead 😜

With school starting back up this week we have a chill weekend ahead!

Join us Friday night for Journaling Night: Whether you journal to write, to track your reading, or to be crafty and creative, grab a friend and come hang out with us while we work on our journals together. Not sure where to start? Our staff would love to walk you through the basics and help you get started! 6-8 PM

Then Saturday afternoon we have two fabulous vendors joining us for a Sip & Shop: Megnetic Links Permanent Jewelry and DIRTYbyrd's Soda Bar. Shop with them during the event and get 15% off a purchase from us! AND we'll have our mimosa specials running the whole time they are set up.

Our Grab & Go menu will be live all day both Friday and Saturday with pre-made and pre-packaged versions of your favorite regular menu items ready to grab quickly and easily.

Hi there - I'm Rachel! I have a tendency to forget that not everyone knows the person they are interacting with behind the bar of the shop is actually the owner, so let me tell you a little bit about myself:

When I was in middle school and people would ask me what my dream job was, I would say "running a bookstore". Even then I thought that was unrealistic, so when I got to high school I changed that dream job to "event planner". I never would have guessed that before I turned 30 I would be opening a bookstore where I get to host as many community events as I want and sell books and pour wine and make coffee.

I of course did not get here alone, and have had so much help and support from friends and family along the way. So while I'm here let me not forget to thank those early supporters, AND our current customers, regulars, and others who support us every day by shopping local.

Open Mic (Poetry) Night is back tomorrow night! We've got extra chairs lined up since the last few have been standing room only. If your Friday night plans are still up in the air we'd love to see you at 6 PM to celebrate the local artists and creatives in our area!

Our monthly book club is always accepting new members and you do not have to buy the book through us to join us on the last Tuesday of the month to talk about the read and try the paired wine.
