On Thursday, October 16 at 7PM, the Hudson Valley Wind Quintet brings the magic of the movies to Bedford Playhouse.

Featuring flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn, this acclaimed ensemble will perform beloved scores from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Dunkirk, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music, Up, The Mission, The Terminal, and more.

What a wonderful time I had playing Les Misérables with this fantastic pit crew for the last two weeks at Westlake high school in Thornwood, New York. Music is everything and sharing it with this crew has been such an immense blessing. The kids did a fantastic job as well.

Life is better with friends y’all ! It’s even better with music on top!

Hi everyone! It's been a while, so I figured I would share this selection from my friend Wesley's recital yesterday. For anyone who does not know, this is an English Horn, not an oboe. I am playing on a very special instrument that Paul Laubin made for himself. The wood is Cocobolo, and Paul did not even serial stamp this instrument. It is truly a spectacular instrument!

This is "When I am Laid in Earth" from Dido and Aneas by Henry Purcell.

I played in church on Sunday and when I came down off the altar after playing, my daughter Abby handed me this note. She’s 6 years old and says she’s going to be an oboist someday! 🥲
