We have one chicken who refuses to sleep in the coop and is not too keen on being caught. I went outside for a second and she came right up to me, feathers flying. She gave me a look like, "please get me out of this wind."
All are safe and sound now in the closed coop.

Just enjoying the show tonight. Two huge cranes in the field next door, surrounded by 4 stray cats circling toward them. The cranes didn't seem worried in the slightest.

The chicken coop is all winterized! Even gave them another nest box in a bucket :) hope they are happy. I am super Stoked to finally have a double-walled font waterer with heat so I don't have to screw around with frozen water this winter!
