This Thanksgiving I am extra thankful, today Pono turns 1 🎉🎈

I have learned many lessons over the past year, and things I would have done differently.

Many times I wanted to give up. Running a small business is no joke.

But overall I’m proud of many things Pono Home Goods accomplished this past year.
- We collected and repurposed 50 pounds of microplasctics off beaches across Hawaii and Virginia (50 pounds!!)
- Donated over $500 across 12 different non profit organizations benefiting land and ocean conservation.
- Formed a partnership with 3 different non profit organizations to repurpose the plastics they collect during beach clean ups.
- Got our items in our first store front and participated in many vendor markets.

I am not sure what the future holds for Pono Home Goods as my personal life seems to get busier and busier. But my love for our planet will remain the same.

To everyone who shopped, shared, liked, followed us along over the past year, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU! 🙏 now back to work, got climate change to deal with. 😘
