The universe is funny. I had backed off from whatnot because I just didn't have the inventory for the platform. My stuff is better geared towards eBay. But I needed a more instant return on my items. I'm also a server to pay the bills but I live in Florida so it's slow season for us now until September so I decided to get a booth at the local flea market. Which turned into getting a shed to go with the booth to have a place to store all of my stuff (my poor house was looking a little horderish).
Well the universe set me in the row sandwiched between a man that sells tools and a man that sells everything under the sun for $1 and up. I imagined myself being the diamond in the rough. Had grand plans for a pretty she shed (even painted the inside of it). My first weekend went great. Sold more than I had imagined. I made friends with my aisle mates. Last Saturday turned into me doing a spontaneous whatnot show from one of his tables because he was selling a huge assortment of jewelry for $2 each. I told him I could double that easy. So I went live and sold a bunch! Went back at it Sunday and sold more! He was so excited about it that he sent all the remaining jewelry home with me and told me whatever I got for it we'd split!
Then yesterday I was bringing stuff to my booth and he was there and showed me another GIANT lot of jewelry he got! He said he can keep me endlessly supplied with jewelry!
So I am apparently selling jewelry on whatnot now!
I go live in an hour from home. Then Sat and Sun mornings live from the flea market!
Hope to see you there!
