As a small business, there’s not much that compares to that line-out-the-door feeling! We’re still beaming from Indie Bookstore Day and the way you all SHOWED UP!

This store exists because of a community that keeps choosing it again and again. You choose to shop local. You choose conversation over convenience. You choose a place where stories aren’t just sold, but shared.

Join us in welcoming animator Jamy Wheless and a special four-legged guest from Canine Companions! We’ll be screening Jamy’s animated short film Andy: A Dog’s Tale, followed by a reading from the coordinating children’s book. Jamy will also lead the audience in a fun Q&A session. This event is perfect for families and children of all ages!

Adapted from the award-winning short film, this children’s book follows the journey of a determined puppy who overcomes adversity to discover his purpose as a service dog.

Join us for an evening with our friend and one of the most talked about authors of the year, Allen Levi. This special event celebrates Levi’s beloved novel, Theo of Golden—the heartwarming story of a mysterious old man whose quiet acts of generosity transform an entire community.

It’s been remarkable to hear how this book has impacted you all far and wide and we are honored to spend time with Allen to celebrate this treasure of a book.
