❤️ Community Showing Up for Community ❤️
Recently, a Holly Springs family experienced an unimaginable loss when their home was destroyed in a fire. Jessica Signal—mom to seven children and a grandmother to a 6-month-old baby—lost nearly everything.
With her permission, the Holly Springs Runners Project has stepped in to help bridge the gap. Thanks to the incredible support from our runners, sponsors, community partners, and events like SpringsFest, we were able to provide funds to cover hotel stays after Red Cross assistance ended.
But the need is still very real and ongoing.
Right now, the family is in urgent need of essential items, especially for the children and baby:
🧦 Clothing Needs
• Girl socks (size 6–8)
• Boy socks (size 8–10)
• Boy (age 7) – size 2
• Baby girl (6 months) – 6–9 months clothing
• Girl (age 18) – size 2 pants, small shirts
• Adult female – robe & slippers
🧴 Hygiene & Personal Care
• Lotion, deodorant
• Toothbrushes & toothpaste
• Comb/brush
• Body wash (sensitive skin, for burns)
• Irish Spring soap (for kids)
• Shampoo & conditioner
She may have a lead on housing after Monday (5/4), and once that is secured, additional needs like furnishings will follow.
How You Can Help
