Feeling so blessed to return to Shanti Shala today for another drum making session! Most of this crew are repeat offenders and I love seeing and hearing their final products from previous sessions! They are becoming skilled drum creators, and it's so fun to grow together in this ancient craft. Aho ❤️

We're having an historic winter here in MA and my drums are starting to show the signs! Natural hide drums are sensitive...

We're having an historic winter here in MA and my drums are starting to show the signs! Natural hide drums are sensitive to extreme high AND low humidity. My 18" heart healer crystal drum "Willow" showed tell tale signs of being too dry with a spreading white coloring around the frame area which can quickly develop into a crack in the hide! So, all my drums got a quick bath and rub down today to restore moisture and preserve them. Of course I had to include some crystals in the bath water for an extra refreshing energy boost!!

So blessed to meet such beautiful souls to share my weird little journey ❤️ if you're seeing this, I mean you!!
