The beautiful handbags from the Rattan Collection start with natural rattan sourced from sustainable forests in Kalimantan, Borneo. 🌳
📍Here, farmers harvest only mature plants and replace them with new vines, thereby ensuring the forest thrives for future generations.

🤝Artisan partners in Java use traditional weaving techniques passed down from mother to daughter for generations.
Rattan production and weaving offers indigenous people an opportunity to own their own businesses, be self-supporting and improve their standard of living.

Highlighting World Fair Trade Day - Newsletter Link 👏

Saturday, May 9th was a day to celebrate everything fair trade! Artisans, vendors, boutique stores and online shops celebrated World Fair Trade Day by raising awareness to the growing fair trade movement.

At The Bridge, we wanted to say thank you for your help, connecting small-scale artisans to the global market. We are proud to be part of a real change in so many lives around the world. 🌎
