Found the page that started it all. A drawing sloppily made over breakfast at The Biscuit. We didn’t have a name. We didn’t have a business plan. We didn’t even know if our dream space was available. This is how Antidote started: as a messy, grasping, draft of a dream. Thanks for making it real.

Hi friends! We have decided to move our family story time to once a month (first Saturdays) as we approach the busy Summer months. Our next story time will be June 6th at 10:30 am.

We always keep the children’s section equipped with pillows and great selections, so you can come in and create your own story time whenever you’d like!

Most Saturdays, this snug corner is reserved for family story time (10 am - come join us!). But every once in a while, it’s the perfect spot for a photo shoot. This one is from Josh and June’s first Daddy Daughter dance. Thanks for being a part of our dream of a family shop. We’re so grateful to all of you for supporting this space, raising your creative kids alongside us, and together fighting for a community filled with light and art and magic ✨

A rainbow appeared over books and LPs,
Over stories and songs and bright melodies.
It arched over pages and jackets of vinyl,
A colorful, magical, sky-written signal.

So come read a story, come play a new tune,
Come browse for an hour or stay all afternoon.

We had such an amazing book club gathering last night! Thank you to all who came out to discuss The Correspondent! We loved this read. In the words of one of our members, “isn’t this the sexiest book?!” Anyone else here for a slow, intimate, deeply personal, deceptively erotic genre…? Because we’re officially fans.
