I have been retired from my 'day job' since 2013, but have continued making cards under the name of Cards Because, which was birthed in 2008. I no longer have a shop open for drop-in business, as I did from 2016 to 2019, but carry on with established clients, as well as new ones. Here we are, with barely a week left in January! I trust you all have gotten the year off to a great start. I have been able to take some days to just nestle in and enjoy the coziness and warmth of INSIDE on the cold days, venturing out only as I see the temperatures climb a wee bit--just one of the perks of this season of my life! I am so very blessed. But projects are calling, and I am pulling myself into work mode once again. No matter what your personal circumstance might be right now—the best time of your life or the worst—the coming of the Christ Child is the greatest event ever to take place on planet earth! His coming changed forever the course of history and brought HOPE for mankind. He is the Way Maker, the Advocate, the Provider, the Comforter, the Saviour, He is Love. His Names are inexhaustible, because He is the beginning…and the end. He is not just a part of Christmas, He IS Christmas! He is Joy to the World! Whatever you need, He’s got it.
