🎃 What an amazing night on Main Street! 👻

We had an incredible time hosting our Second Annual Trunk or Treat on Main Street! What an absolutely amazing evening with the Hoisington community. You all showed up and made it unforgettable!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special! From those who set up trunk spaces, our food and drink vendors, the Hoisington Police Department, The City of Hoisington, our amazing volunteers, and to all of the families who came out to celebrate with us!

✨ We welcomed around 475 trick-or-treaters, had 25 creative trunks set up, and hosted our first annual costume contest with over 50 awesome entries!

🏆 Best Decorated Space winners will be announced TOMORROW! Stay tuned!

If you see any of these people out in the community be sure to tell them thank you for supporting all of my crazy ideas and making this event so much fun!

Meet Khary!

We are thrilled to welcome Khary to our team as a certified nail technician. A Hoisington native and Great Bend High School graduate, Khary completed her nail technician certification at Dodge City Community College. With a strong passion for art and creativity, Khary brings a fresh perspective and an eagerness to grow within the beauty industry.

Khary is excited to begin building a loyal clientele and looks forward to serving the community that has always supported her and her family. Outside of the salon, Khary enjoys drawing, reading, gaming, and spending time with her dog, Ace. Who you might even catch making an occasional appearance at the salon.

Eight years ago, we opened The Farmhouse at 163 S. Main Street—a small shop with a big dream. In a cozy rented space, we began with the simple hope of offering quick gifts and a unique shopping experience to our community. What started small was fueled by grit, hard work, and a growing vision.

In 2020, after a couple years of growth, we moved into our current home at 104 N. Main Street—a move that allowed us to expand not only our space but also our offerings and our dreams.

Over the years, that vision has continued to evolve. Depending on the day, you might catch Cory or me dreaming out loud about future plans—or simply feeling the exhaustion that comes with running a small business. But through it all, our commitment to our community has never wavered.

Today, we’re so proud of where this journey has taken us. From a quaint gift shop, we’ve grown into a full-service salon paired with a carefully curated boutique offering jewelry, women’s apparel, beauty products, and gifts. We’re proud to carry customer favorites like Kendra Scott, Kitsch, Swig, Judy Blue, Flying Monkey, and more. Our goal remains the same: to be your go-to destination for both the perfect gift and a personalized salon experience.

With all these changes, we knew it was time for our name and space to reflect the full story of who we’ve become. After months of dreaming, planning, and imagining, we’re excited to announce our new name: Brick + Blossom Salon and Boutique.

This name is meaningful to us. “Brick” represents the strength and character of our historic space—and the love and effort that’s gone into every corner of it. “Blossom” symbolizes beauty, softness, growth, and the personal side of our story: the floral elements in our logo are inspired by the birth flowers of our three amazing kids—Tripp, Everleigh, and Lyla.

We’ve seen big changes—and there are still more to come. But through it all, our mission remains the same: to serve our community with heart, creativity, and purpose.

Thank you for being a part of our story as The Farmhouse. We’re so excited to continue the journey with you as Brick + Blossom!
