We are testing a NEW fragrance for this design, and it smells absolutely drool-worthy. To better suit the name and design we’ve built, I chose a pure honey scent! 🍯 Imagine a fresh honeycomb, golden and glistening, and sweet as can be. This new fragrance is has a strong throw, and will make you feel like Queen Bee. 🐝

Tracy’s private pouring party was A HIT! 😍🕯️ I had so much fun with you ladies today, and was even invited to join their painting party with Hopes Art Room next month! I can’t wait. ☺️

The candles this group created were out of this world- half of the Apothecary smelled like the deep woods with Bear’s Den blends, and the other half was sweet and fruity, with a bit of Love Spell, chocolatey raspberry, and florals for Flora! 🤭 🌺 You all did a wonderful job, and I hope you had as much fun as I did. Jess does a beautiful job with custom prints on items like these. 😍 I can’t wait to get them back in my hands for this Saturday’s group- Tracy and her friends are going to learn how we make our dessert candles! 🕯️ Can’t wait to see you all!

Expanding on our wick trimming conversation the other day- here’s a photo example! When the wick is untrimmed, the flame is higher and hotter, sacrificing some of the quality of the burn we look for in our candles. Kept trimmed to about 1/4”, our cotton wicks maintain an even, steady flame, allowing for a longer, cleaner, and safer burn! 🔥 ✨ The more you know! ✨ 🕯️

There is always a lot going on behind the scenes here at WillowWik Candles… 🕯️ Researching, testing (and retesting…) new fragrances, designing candles, melts, and labels, and making new business contacts! 🥰

We are thrilled you’re loving what we’re putting out at Willow Wood Farm & Apothecary, and the several locations around Aroostook County we have partnered with to offer customized candles. One of my personal goals is to have every storefront in Houlton’s town square carrying a unique design, handcrafted by me!

We are reaching outside the boundaries of your normal, every day candles, offering a product that won’t be found anywhere else. ❤️
