These are native blueberries -Seed saving tips. I m using local to my zone berries. I simply dry the seeds by removing them onto A paper towel .
I ll throw the dry in the freezer and come spring time I’ll start some new blue berry bushes .
You can do the same with all native berries. Also propagate those bushes in the fall for hardy spring plants.

You can grown Lavender in Aroostook county it does not need to come in or be covered ! It likes dry hot airy full sun
Don’t water it after established it’s happy . Keep it airy and only rocks for any kind of mulch

Took some time to smell and share the flowers today
The Lavender loves heat and looks like it’ll be blooming a couple weeks earlier than expected. I pray 🙏 for safety of all this heat wave is no joke coming Wednesday Thursday and Friday to N ME. Temperatures will be over 100 and it’ is dangerous, please prepare for emergency- in case power outages I can’t imagine the grid being days full on
With all the cooling units and our world is not the same . Freeze up water and and extra ice blocks in case .
Get some heavy window coverings
To block the sun
Windows. Prepare ahead freeze water bowls full if any extra freezer space it also helps save energy when freezers full. This is not fear this is planning ahead .
