TFW the Librarian has been away for a week and comes back to find her workspace buried in books, the return cart overflowing , a long backlog of checkouts to enter into the system, a big pile of summer reading book reviews to sort through, plus some nice donations to top it all off. (And the toys are telling me that they were played with, too!)

Back in the day, when the librarian was away the library had to be closed, which was sad. But now the library is open Tuesday through Sunday 11 to 5 even when the librarian is out!! This miracle would not be possible without Susana, Rio, and James -- our artist friends collectively known as Caban Company.
