Take a walk through the SCHS Greenhouse. We have PLENTY of beautiful plants to choose from! My students learn not only from the planning and planting process but also from the sale! That $3 six pack of tomatoes means more than you could ever imagine.

April 27, 2026 take a look at what's blooming in The SCHS Greenhouse.

Some Notes of Importance:
1. Our first day open is Sunday May 3rd at 8am. Our schedule is attached to this post.

2. This is a student run organization with learning being the Important thing. I appreciate your patience as my students learn valuable life skills. We are not a garden center.

3. We only accept cash or check for payment. This is school policy. See #2 for reference.

4. We do not have "Cherry Tomatoes" Too many times my students have been blamed for your abundant cherry tomatoes crop. Oh, and we didn't have them last year either! FYI, cherry tomatoes are super at volunteering in your garden from last year's unharvested fruit. Maybe...just maybe....you killed those Mr. Stripey's and the cherry tomato volunteers took over. Also refer to #2

5. I shouldn't have to say this, but apparently I do. There are youngens working, this facility. Make sure you have school appropriate attire on your body when shopping our school sponsored greenhouse. Goodness.....put that mess away.

6. No dogs, vapes, to***co, or weapons are allowed in the greenhouse or on school property.

I am sharing some photos from this month as a beautiful reminder that there is so much more to the Agriculture Science Department than just our beloved greenhouse operations.

Like a complicated puzzle all the pieces come together to make the Agriculture Program what it is. Educational opportunities, memory making, once in a lifetime experience, and of course the requirements of daily school life will always be at the foundation of what we do.

This school year has been wonderful with my students stepping up to participate in activities that we as a program never have before. These things have been excellent learning opportunities and I am proud of the work my kiddos have done for each of these events.

I, Ms. Duffield, could easily take my Saturday afternoon and put together what you seek in a plant list, but what do my students learn by me, the teacher, putting together said list?..... absolutely nothing. And that's not what our greenhouse educational facility is about.

For now, enjoy the photo dump. I couldn't help but smile as I chose each picture and the opportunities offered and memories made with each. These are the things that make up my important list. We will see you Sunday May 3rd.

This video includes our yearly Public Service Announcement reminding all our wonderful supporters and followers that we are an educational facility first. For those of you concerned about why "a list" has not been published. Educational opportunities, memories made, school policy and activities ALWAYS come before making a dollar.
