Dear Authors,

If you have consigned books with An Island Bookshelf, which you would like to retrieve, please send private message here before January 15, 2026. I am following up with the emails sent last year. . . to most of the authors.

If I don't hear from you, I want to place your books in the general used book section and the proceeds will be donated to the Hilton Head Friends of Library.

If you would like to join me on a Saturday to promote your books, also private message me, please. I would be happy to have you!

POETRY in someone's STOCKING #1

When Your Wife has Tommy John Surgery

by E. Ethelbert Miller

Wit and tragedy live side by side in this beautiful book of poems by E. Ethelbert Miller. The everday actions between childhood pals or long married couples are placed with both punch and tenderness between the innings, baselines, and gloves that frame our national pastime. ---Liz Lerman, Institute Professor, Arizona State University, and and independent choreotrapher.
