This week we celebrated Miles Davis’s centennial and said goodbye to Sonny Rollins. Here’s one that I’ve always loved and appreciated with both legends playing on the same record. I had a reissue in my first couple of years of collecting jazz records, and finally have the original LP. Happy 100th birthday, Miles, and rest easy, Sonny.

S/O to for this nice UK original! Taking good pictures of records with glossy or foil covers is a near impossible task, so this is the best I could do. I’ve been obsessed with Can lately and the timing couldn’t be better. I can actually sit down and enjoy the music and not worry about concerts, parades, grading, instrument repairs, etc. Happy start of summer break!
