Hi everyone, I just wanted to stop in and give a brief update and clear up some confusion that has come up with some of you lately. Yes, we do plan to reopen the store however we had a set back with our son which needs to be addressed first before we can in good faith reopen the business. Please bear with us as we work through these changes we were not expecting and then we can get the business back up and running.

Hey everybody, it has been a while!

It has been too long I think, which is why we are taking the time to talk about our plans for reopening the store. As some of you know I have been going back to school online to improve my business skills. I started going to class again at the beginning of the pandemic to spend my time productively and work on ideas for the store so that we could come back stronger than ever! I only have three classes to finish up my bachelor’s degree so I will be done this summer! Jackie and I are also having a formal wedding reception that we could not have had last year with all the travel and gathering restrictions.

We have also been taking the time to be at home with our little dude, who is rapidly becoming not-so-little! Once my classes are complete and the wedding is done being planned (arguably as much work if not more than the college education) and we get to enjoy it, we will be getting down to serious work on the store. I want to take the time soon, and more intensely when I am finished with school, to sit down with all of you and talk about plans for the store. I will be finished in June and then I want to take the time to do proper research on store locations, construct a business plan for potential loans to fund the store, crowdfunding/crowdsourcing support to build a store that we all want to be a part of and most importantly take the time to listen to all our loyal supporters about what we can do for them going forward!

It has been a long time since we were open and we are grateful that so many of you are still listening for information from us, still asking us when we are going to reopen, bumping into us in public, and telling us you miss us and staying in touch through social media, thank you. I will have another post soon (like real soon, not six months soon) about some ideas we have for the store and how we want to bring you all in as partners in some form or another!

Hello everyone! I am so sorry for the lack of updates this year. It has been a trying year as we navigated being parents, monitoring the Covid situation and having family to take care of. We wanted to wish you all a belated Merry Christmas, happy holidays and a very happy New Year. We look forward to being able to reopen this year as soon as we can. With Covid numbers right now it will be a little longer but we are hopeful. We sadly got to experience this illness first-hand when the whole house including our one year old son contracted Covid during the holidays. We are parents to a happy little boy who loves trying to help Daddy build magic decks. We hope to see everyone again real soon. Be safe and be healthy.

Hey everybody, I have a question for you all. Actually, I have several as I want to start some research on ideas I have had for the new store when we eventually reopen. As I am working on my bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship I can't help but think of how to apply what I am learning to the business. So I wanted to use this space to start asking some questions and I would really appreciate your input. If you do not feel comfortable voicing your opinions here, or you are afraid of hurting feelings or thinking your question is kind of silly, fear not because you can email the store instead!

First up: What do you need from a hobby store? I do not mean product, I mean services or something in the environment. What can we do for you to make collecting, playing, whatever-you-do-ing easier and more fun?

Hi everyone, we wanted to update everyone that our little Josu arrived last week a few weeks early. We are still in the hospital as he is in the NICU but he is making improvements every day. He is currently napping, full of chipmunk cheeks and wiggly frog legs. The three of us are resting comfortably and we hope to be going home one day this week. We will post some pictures in the next few days as we are truly blessed by our little miracle.
