So this was the 1st comic Joni ever subscribed to when she set up a pull list after we got married. Lemon and I got this signed at a con at the beginning of October by Jim Cummings for her. When we were submitting this we were hoping to have it back by Christmas. I was never expecting that it would come back in less than 3 weeks.
Joni always loved the idea of the Día de los Mu***os. She loved the idea that our spirits could come back and visit our family’s so that we were truly never gone. The fact her book somehow expedited its self to come back in time for today makes me feel like she’s waiting for her comic.
It’s been a hard year without her but little things like this will help keep her close to us. Today we will be sure to share all the stories we can think of. I do miss her every day but today I do feel closer to her.
