There's a little bookshop on Main Street in High Point where something happens the moment you walk through the door. The noise fades. You exhale. And somehow, you feel like you ended up exactly where you were supposed to be. 🕊️
That's Manna on Main — a Christian bookstore owned by Shelby Farmer, who bought the store in 2023 with a simple but unshakeable conviction: "I know God's telling me to do this."
Previously IDA Christian Bookstore, the shop was renamed after the Biblical story of God providing manna in the wilderness, the store is exactly what its name promises — a place of provision. Bibles, devotionals, Bible studies, thoughtful gifts, and a prayer request wall where your needs are genuinely lifted up by Shelby and her team.
"[It's] symbolism of God always providing," Shelby says, "and hopefully our store can do the same."
With Easter weekend almost here, it's a beautiful time to stop in, find something meaningful, and maybe find a little encouragement along the way! ❤️
