What's on our work benches this week? First up is the lovely Saint Melangell. From our Icons & Saints collection, Melangell was an Irish princess who is said to have given shelter to a hare during a prince's hunt, saving the rabbit with courage and prayer. The prince having been touched by Melangell's love and determined protection, offered her land for a sanctuary where she formed an abbey for women seeking refuge. Melangell dedicated her life as the abbess for 37 years until her death.

Today she is celebrated as the Patron Saint of Hares and Rabbits.
