We will open the gates this morning for registration at 9:45. You can also pick your fishing spot at that time. We have food and drinks for sale. Remember the bait must be purchased here at the event. We have Cricket,minnows red worms, wax worms, night crawlers, liver, stink bait, etc.

It is going to be a great day this Saturday the 27th with a high of only 83 degrees! Bring your family out and enjoy the all age fishing rodeo. 3 different age groups win prizes and you get to keep all your catfish you catch at no additional charge. The lake is loaded with bass, bream, catfish and crappie. The fishing rodeo starts at 10:30 but arrive early to get registered and claim your spot. For more info call 901-647-5793

Tickets will be on sale at the farmers market on the square in Hernando in the morning from 8-12 for the All Age Fishing Rodeo on June 27th.

The tickets are still being printed and they say should be ready early next week. I am asking people to text me how many tickets you want in advance because I am already getting a lot of request for 5 - 10 tickets. Unfortunately we will not be opening Southern Winds in Hernando. The high cost of insurance at this location doesn't justify the amount of business we would have. We will try to have a couple of fishing rodeos at some point this year.
