Why should you care if these ingredients are used in your personal care products? Welp.. they aren’t safe for you ❌ Some are known carcinogens and should flat out not be in anything we use on our bodies.

Your breast cancer surviving babe is here to keep you in the know so you can make the best choices for you.

Good place to start is by turning your products around and seeing if any of these never lost ingredients are on there. If they are…. To me, clean beauty means that a product is safe, non-toxic, and has transparent labeling of ingredients.

It’s so hard these days to pick something off the shelf and know for sure if it’s safe for you. I didn’t used to care about this stuff, but now.. I can’t help it.

Everyone should have the opportunity to have access to products that are safe.

Have you thought about the safety of your everyday products?

If you haven’t, I hope you reconsider to pay a little more attention. As a cancer survivor and one that sees and hears of family/friends and friends of friends being diagnosed at our young age it really makes me sad to hear.

I didn’t know that there were so many harmful chemicals in our daily soaps, shampoos, detergents, or lotions. I didn’t know that I could have been causing harm to myself all these years. I didn’t know better, but now I do, and I am here to share so you can know there is better out there too.

Sadly, we as consumers have to take it upon ourselves to learn and arm ourselves with knowledge so we can make the best decisions for our families.

If you are interested to learn more or make sense of where to start, I’m happy to help get you on the right path. Beautycounter is one brand paving the way to clean but there are others too as safer options for you.

If you could support a company that was doing things to make your world a safer place for you and your family, would you support them?

I used to be one that didn’t pay attention or care where I bought things. I had a rude awakening in 2018 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and my whole world was turned upside down. I am awake now…. And paying attention…

Beautycounter is that company to pay attention to. Not only do they make the safest products out there that have awesome performance, they are doing the work to affect change. They are going to the lawmakers and educating them of the harmful chemicals that are out there and being put in our every day products.. they are making products that DON’T contain the harmful chemicals.. and they are leading and educating the beauty industry to do better with their products…

Why am I telling you? Because I care about you.. I want you to be informed.. I want you to have all the information you need to make the best decisions for you and your family.. I am an information sharer 🥰

I have learned so much in this breast cancer journey of mine and the world should know about all those learnings.

Are you just starting your journey to clean? It definitely can be an overwhelming one… but I would be happy to share and get you started with some safer swaps as your bottles and tubes of other goodies are running low. There is a safer option for almost everything! Beautycounter does offer some, which I would be happy to help you with, but there are also so many other brands that are offering safer alternatives too! Shampoos, toothpaste, soaps, detergents, makeup, candles….. you name it! I have recommendations for lots 💕
